Umm not sure If im understanding your question totally...

But no 2nd gen Rx-7 came out with twin turbos.
Only 3rd gen Rx-7's did.

The stock turbo off all FC rx-7's ('87-92) is a Hitachi HT18S-2S, the only thing that changed in the '89-92 models was a different exhaust housing on the turbo (equal sized runners and better wastegate system)

FD's have twin Hitachi HT-12's.

Don't bother asking about compressor maps, because Mazda has not released such information.

They are reliable if you keep up the maintenance.
These turbos regularly last up to 100,000 miles no problem.
Keep the boost under 14psi, and it'll stay happy.
Regular oil changes (and coolant flushes) are required.
