I need Ignition pigtail ID help
I need a little help here, I am trying to wire a push button start on my S5 vert. My ignition switch has stopped working (after a steady decline). I am looking at the FSM page t-17 (http://www.teamfc3s.org/main/factory...cal_System.pdf) and I need to know if IG2 is the 40amp wire that I need connect to the ST wire (going to the starter) I am referencing a couple pages to help me because there are no write-ups for the FC anywhere (I am going to make one when I am done.
This FD write up has been good but the part I am stuck on is the wire I need to tap into off the ignition pigtail. Please look at this page, step 6. It is the black with green stripe wire that I need to find the equivalent to in my FC. http://www.fd3s.net/start_button_installation.html
In your answer please reference the wire names on the pig tail diagram on t-17. The previous owner installed a car alarm (what a figing mess)so it is kinda tough to identify some stuff after the harness.
Thanks in advance for the help, she is just sitting there until i can start her

How about a different tack? The pigtail connects to the Front harness plugs. The pure black wire is the one from the 100amp fuse in the engine bay.
The Black/Blue wire is the one headed for the starter.
Look at the free and online series five wiring diagrams.
Series four colors are Different.
