i need help

my car has been down for a week now and i cant figure it out. it just crapped out while i was getting on the freeway, it felt like i lost 90% of power, started backfiring a bit and i pulled over. i couldn't find anything immediately wrong at the scene, and had to get towed home.

now it wont even start. i have spark, it's getting fuel. i just checked the compression by pulling plugs. the rear rotor i can hear great, but the front i can't hear anything. it's hard for me to believe the motor could have blown, because i just put in a jdm s5 swap about 4 or 5 months ago and it has been running very well. also has been running rather rich, and i thought that would prevent this sort of thing?

so this is where i am at, at the moment. any ideas???

thanks,
Jake

If you hear nothing from the front rotor, why is it hard to believe that it blew?
Remove your "beliefs" from the situation and begin gathering some hard data...like a compression test.
