I need advice about buying

ok i don't own and rx7....yet maybe soon that's why i need some help. I'm looking at a 1987 Mazda RX-7 non-turbo, 5-spee,d it has 100,000 miles, power windows and locks, sunroof, clean for the most part, has bad paint chipping on front bumper. It seems to run fine, but i know nothin about rotary engines. An "add colant" light came on with a buzzing noise but they guy said it had an air bubble, is this ok, easily fixable, or something i need to worry about? The asking price is $3700. Please give me some advice on what to look out for, things to ask the owner, and let me know if you think it would be worth buying. Thanks guys!

Air Bubble?? That means its not bled = easy fix, or its a blown coolant seal = rebuild (circa $1000 if major parts are good).

I also thing 3700 is a bit much.

Get some pics!

If it's just an air bubble then yes, it's easily fixable.

Get HIM to fix it.

An '87 NA with some paint issues and 100k on the clock should run perfectly for that asking price.

$3700 is way too much. Do you have more money than sense? If so, send me some money.

Airbubbles in the coolant aren't a huge problem, not too hard to fix, but... are you sure the guy isn't taking just advantage of the fact that you don't know a whole lot about cars?

Check the underbody for rust. It's insidious, and a lot of otherwise good looking Rx7s have a big rust problem.
