I made my own strutbar

4mm plasmacut flanges, mated to a 25mm/3mm Stainless steel bar with adjustable spherical bearings in each end.
I might make it a solid bar and use the bearings for an adjustable rear camber bar

Thanks for the compliment.

The dizzy came stock on all European models(N322). From what i have read about the CAS im pretty happy about the distributor. Its very easy to work on if it breaks, not like the CAS when it breaks.

Nice job, looks clean! Make an engine torque damper that fits with a strut bar and I bet you could sell the pair and do well

It looks like a nice job, but why would you want bearings at each end?

You want to limit all flex, with your set up you have only limited flex between the towers inward at the same time. You have not limited chassis flex at all.

You need to design the bar so that it does not move, and is as solid as a multi-piece strut bar can be. Putting bearings in just allows additional flex that you do not want.

To further make my point... yes you have limited the strut towers flexing like this: / \

But with your bearings on the ends the towers can still do this: / / or this \ \

So far its just a testbar to get the measurements, once the solid bar is done I will add two more bars to the firewall and maybe make a torquebrace.

Damn I feel productive these days
