I know nothing about wheels...

I'm looking to get beater winter wheels. A friend of mine has a set of 99 maxima wheels that are 215x55x16. Will those fit on a 90 TII?

yeah, they'll fit fine. I have eclipse wheels on my car which has a pretty positive offset of +40 on my TII. They just look a little bit "set in". No biggy, they should be fine for the winter.

i was actually thinking about tossing 'zenis on them and using them for autox/track wheels. I'd keep my stockers on with all seasons all of the time. I'd like to avoid driving with zenis in the rain. Oh, btw, what's the stock offset?

I may be wrong, but I think it's close to +40 or a little under 40. A search may get you the info you want.
