I know the Miata six speed doesn't work well for an FC, but what about a Protege?

Anyone notice how the MazdaSpeed Progete has one? What do you know about its specs for power?

the mazdaspeed protege has a 5spd. and its the same tranny thats in the mazda mp3, and all mazda proteges, protege5's. pretty notchy tranny, has an odd mechanical feel to it. not very sporty at all. the 1-2 shift in my mp3 is REALLY terrible. a few people have already blown their trannies, either due to a manufacture defect or the trannies are just weak...and thats at stock power levels (130-140hp)

oh yeah, not to mention the protege is FWD...unless you were doing some weird FWD conversion, it wouldnt work.
