ok i bought my vert and for some odd reason the previous owner put 6x9s in the back shelf/spare tire cover....greatest part is the speakers are not hooked up and no wires are ran. so since i have the speakers there, would i be able to tap into the wiring for the headrest speakers to power these? and please dont tell me to just remove them cuz then i would have big holes that i cant fill. i mostly just need to know the actually watts that are put to the headrest speakers. if thats not a good idea what would be the best way to hook them up? thanks in advance guys.

Arent the headrest speakers powered by their own amp? Are you using a aftermarket headunit?

the best way is to wire them up to the deck or amp

Multiple locations, I think the headrest amp is behind the drivers seat under the windblocker... no the headrest amp will not handle aftermarket speakers,

I ran an amp from the trunk to power the door speakers and ran the headrest speakers directly from a aftermarket deck

I would find another way. You'll like those headrest speakers if you give them a chance
