I had this problem. It turned out to be the result of my own shoddy gauge installation. The wire on the parking light circuit (Green/Red ?) behind the dash shorted to ground because it popped out of a butt connector.

 

I did this today (the relay upgrade into the sub lightswitch harness) and it came out awesome!! I would love to do this work for anyone that would like to have this done!! (for a small charge of course) the charge would be 25 bucks labor plus parts and shipping. anyone who is interested just let me know and thanks again for everyones help!!
