I just replaced my fuel filter and o2 sensor and now.....

now my car loses power and just can't seem to pass 7000 rpm. It accelerates fine up until 7000rpm and then it just bogg. I floored it but it just doesn't seem to want to go past that rpm. oh yeah, its a 90 GTU.

Thanx

You want to play craps like soul brotha numba one? Sorry

Are these OEM fuel filters? I've seen a few posts that say aftermarket fuel filters don't flow as well as Mazda ones. Maybe doing a search could help you out more. Good luck.

If the filter was installed where the inlet is towards engine rather than the gas tank, would the motor still run or does it flow in either direction, but less efficient if not installed correctly.

USE FACTORY OEM FILTERS. It's been PROVEN that some aftermarket fuel filter cause bad fuel pressure
