Ok so i live in Wisconsin, and it get a little cold here so i guess what my ? is, i got a rtek 1.5 and im deleteing emissions and was wondering if deleteing thermo wax and sub zero assist will do anything? like i have read ALOT of threads on how to delete emissions but will it be hard to start when i gets cold out?

I would not recommend ever removing the throttle body thermowax cold start assit in a climate that drops under 60F.

As far as the sub zero assit, there is a Mazda TSB to remove it. It is not recommended to be on the federal cars that had it as it only increases emissions and decreases cat life. Note, that California spec cars never had the sub zero assit even from the factory.

i ran no thermowax all last winter, just let the car sit for 5 mins. Sometimes it will need a 2nd start up to warm up enough to idle right.

Mine had a bad thermowax, and it took several starts to idle right sometimes, and thats with a wimpy texas winter. I agree with Icemark, don't get rid of it. There is no benefit to removing it.
