FIRST thing you need to do is open up a webster's....

second thing you need to do is ASK the actual question.

edit, i think i found the question. how many of us have ever ran nitrus?

jk dude

few questions to answer first:

- got a walbro or any higher pressure fuel pump in place?

- if u already have a pump, do u have a resistor pack to regulate the fuel pressure during low load and idle?

- is ur nitrous kit wet or dry?

ok...ur motor will go bye bye with a 75 and up hp shot without fuel upgrades.

i just noticed its for an S4............ur gonna need ignition retard of 1 degree/25hp.......so about 3-5 degrees for a 75-100hp shot. so that means either getting a standalone or 3 CDI boxes to tune ignition retard.

Midnight 7 , have you had any persona experience with the nitrous setup to be making those suggestions? Im not being a smartass, just asking. I think just for a 75 shot, and its a wet-kit, he should be "ok" with stock timing and everything. The only thing I would suggest is a larger pump, just in case. Id think even a stock T2 pump should surfice.

my nitrous project is underway with the help of Sean Cathcart.....which is a 120 hp single stage wet system.

all my infomation came from him.

50 shot is fine......but changing ignition retard will affect ur normal driving. thats y u need "retard pills" that activate only during nitrous use......as Sean says, be modest about the power the car can handle.

you can always increase it as do your supporting mods, which hell of a lot better than a big shot blowing ur engine coz you wanted big power RIGHT NOW.

50 should be fine..........75 might still be ok..........but anything higher and ur risking detonation.

oh yeah, dont forget to upgrade fuel octane:

50 = 89
75 = 91
100 = 94
120 = ...cant remember what Sean said....hahahaha..
