Thumbs up I just finished doing a very nice headlight mod. Directions will be up soon!

i just finished doing a dope mod for my headlights. they kind look like a 3000gt. and the lights dont go up all the way so it has a mean look to it. im in the process of making the directions. they will be up in 2 days. so sit tight! pics will be up today. "need batteries"

your looks nice, but mine are better. LOL:p well for the mod you take out the whole headlight housing and you use 2 round lights. sortlike the 3000gt. im bought batteries and now my camera's acting up! blah. but ill probably have them up tommorow. cause its getting late an i gotta wake up at 6 in the morning. so around 3 or so. ill have them up. peace guys!

RX7racing, I was just in Chicago two weeks ago and wanted to check out some fellow rotories, but I didn't find anyone from there. I will be back in a few months if you want to meet up. I would like to check out your FC.

I bought two sets of Hella Optilux 1300 from JCWhitney. rx7_racing2001 used a different type that he got for cheaper.
the total cost is pretty much two sets of lights, an aluminum (or whatever metal) bar 16 inches long, a switch to control the retractor motor, and two diodes (only needed if you want all four lights to come on when your brights are on)...i think thats it

and i was going to post an update...thats convenient

crusader_9x: for the lighting i would honestly say that it is about the same in terms of shining more light, but you could probably use different lights than what I used which could shine more light. It also depends on clearance too...you'll understand that when i put up the directions.

ok...well i finished finals and i have had to do loads of xmas shopping to do. but now it seems like i have some free time. i'll try to have pics and directions up by new years, but it might be after new years by the time i have it up. it all depends on my job and things.
i'll keep u guys updated, dont worry i wont forget

i finally got the digital camera, very good possibility of taking pics tommorow at least...that will give u better idea of how it looks

yes you can. the lights i used have replaceable H3 bulbs.
