when its idle, i hear something from the rear of my car making a rattling/squeaking noise. no idea what it is. but what really concerns me was today, i got home and turned off my car and i hear a ticking noise like "tick tick tick tick tick" rapidly. i put my ear next to my exhaust and it seems to be coming from inside my exhaust??? it almost sounds as if liquid is dripping on metal. i have a 88 TII with an apexi catback.

 

Sounds like metal cooling down.
