I HAVE SEARCHED"should i see the 5th/6th ports move" s5
when i am under the hood and give it some gas(with the throttle not the pedal) shouldn't i see them move. I can move them with my hands but can't see them move when i give it gas.

very hard to ever see em move at idle/revving under hood because of the way they are made to function under load.

Aarons site has some good info, not sure about turboing the N/A part ..though he got it to work...in fact how is that Aaron?, is it still running etc.

For those with series 5 N/A's, the port actuators push to open, and only under high load.
To test them, T in a pressure gage and blow into the tube to check at what pressure they open.
Then route the tube inside with the gage on the end, and do a test drive to see when they open.
This also works for the VDI.

I used 2 small 1/4" round rare earth magnets put them on top of the plunger shaft pushed against the housing. Go for a ride and when you come back check to see if the magnets are now a distance from the housing. It works better than grease. No, I don't have a source for these magnets it was in my junk box.
