Anyway now i need to go and find the vacuum leak. Pretty sure its a leaky manifold gasket now.

man, wish i was that lucky.

mine kept starting, jumping to 3-4k, then dying. I thought i had it down to a vacuum leak, but after replacing both gaskets in the VDI and IM, plugging in a few hoses that i found disconnected and trying again, it doesn't even fire now. seems like it just keeps flooding because the spark plugs are wet every time i pull them.
