no he cant turn it around, the "bolt pattern" and the dimentions are off. but he can buy another scoop for it that ius a reverse scoop. think of it as interchangable rather then reversable. (i am his best friend, this is how i know)

thanx speeddemon.... yeah, i measured the bolts today to see if i could reverse it, and the bolts in front are spread wider than in the rear...... i wish i could reverse it..... (thats why i want to start designing ****... its those little things that make great products...i.e, reversable scoop)

I don't care if they sponser you..... really..... as it sits, that hood is a mongoloid ricers wet dream

tell them to make it with the center vent as PART OF THE HOOD, ..........not bolted on like some cheap cowl induction aftermarket POS you'd see pop riveted (steel, so they rust, of course) over a hole cut with a Black and Decker jig saw in the hood of an '85 6 cylinder camaro with a primer paint job up on blocks in the tornado magnet.. i mean trailer park, on the south side of hicksville USA........ and I'll buy one...

For whom ever wanted to see a blue reverse cowl, here you go I am going to enlarge the vents, but in this form water does not go near the alternator. Carl

what you COULD do, is give some constructive feedback to your sponsor (in regards to the response of the community).

one word. panspeed...and you'd have my vote.

actually ive been relaying everything people are saying to the company...... i like that the knightsport hood has different center pieces that are interchangable..... i think that is a good idea, then people can have the same hood, but not, all at the same time........ hopefully gtp will start offering a variety of scoops!!

all in all, most of the rx community seemed to really like the hood..... i love mine, now that i finally got it adjusted right (been lazy) ......

ive relayed that the hood was a hit, but most people are not fond of the rivets, and to maybe offer a hood w/ out rivets in it..... we'll see what happns........ baby steps!!

thanx.... i really liked the graghics, but they are way too flashy, and now that i got the body kit ive wanted forever (gp sport g-four knock-off)(too cheap to spend $2500 on a body kit, $900 was bad enough ), i dont need wild graghics!

note.... there is going to be a blue and carbon fiber vinyl sripe going down the side of my car.... nothing big, but very effective in tying everything together.... ill deffinently post pics when its finished (and definenly during the changover)

i already have a front mount intercooler installed...... just need the piping (its off of a mitsu evolution 8).... been procrastinating on the piping, but it will get done soon!

the rest of the engine bay is definently going to be cleaned up, im planning on getting everything polished and powdercoated when i do the next engine pull! i already have all the brackets, pulleys (minus alternator pulley) and a few engine components powdercoated.....
