my cars cooling system is pissing me off. i just ordered a new thermostat and just got a new water pump and i was going to take the old thermostat out when. SNAP there goes a bolt. so now i have 1/2 a bolt stuck holding down the thermostat housing. plus on top of it a have a busted hoze somewhere (havent found it yet). im just tempted to get it to a shop and let them deal with it.

 

You need to remember these cars are old. When a bolt is stuck, use some liquid wrench to loosen it. If you force it , you'll break something. After you take it out, go to a hardware store buy new bolts and use anti seize on them. Most parts are aluminum so you can't torque it down too much. Use a torque wrench.
