I got my new bnr stage 3!

I got my new bnr stage 3!

Hey guys, so after much debating I went with a bnr turbo. I talked to Bryan and he got new CHRA, turbine weheel, etc etc. The only thing I sent him was my exhaust housing.

The intake housing actually has BNR casted into it! I felt the shaft play and there was little to none! n I have not ran it yet, but I was curious if anyone else has gotten their new bnr turbos. I guess he is no longer clipping the factory turbine wheels.

Anyonbe else already install theirs can let me know how much boost they are getting with the wastegate?

I got a stage 2 a little more than a year ago. VERY ugly compressor housing, I was really looking for a "China" mark on it somewhere because it was so ugly. It also only had a 2.75" inlet as opposed to the 3" he advertised. It ran 317 hp @ 10 psi, 349 @ 14 psi.

This was an s5 manifold BTW.

i love the bnr turbos best bang for the buck i dont know why fc owners dont go with this setup!

Cool, any pictures? Is it better? Do you know what turbine wheel he's basing it on?

Does he offer ball bearing CHRAs yet?

How much did all the new bits cost you?

Are you running full 3 in exhaust

he does not have ball bearing center sections. my stage 3 costed $740 with shipping. the only thing he didn't do was port my wastegate. I'm not sure why

Essentially... Yes.

Running the original version of the RB REV TII exhaust. Same except for that it's mild steel vice stainless.

No Porting , thats odd. I got a stage 2 from him last spring. He ported mine so much I'm concerned its going to crack at the bolt hole in the corner of the housing cut into the threads way to much in my opinion. But then he didn't open up the small entrance on the snail. His web page said that was part of the deal. Final price was close to 9 bill, more than I had expected

so it's suffice to say that the quality is starting to taper off from what it once was with BNR? for$740 and not tickled pink, I think I will save up longer for a gt35r ....

I purchased a stage 3 last year from Bryan and everything was top notch. No issues with the build, turbos still running strong. Not sure what's going on with reports of not as advertised, but did anyone call Bryan and discuss their issue with him? I doubt it. He was very quick to respond, easy to contact, and very easy to work with. I'm sure any legitimate issue would have been taken care of promptly.

Well, I did get everything new except for the exhaust housing, EVERYTHING! I'm just going to port the turbo myself now, not a huge deal, I would have been more disappointed if the porting wasn't done well,

GT35r is a great turbo, but the only thing that turned me off was having to refabricate the manifold, downpipe, hot pipe, and lines. One forum member suggested changing the fuel line to all -6, with a higher volume pump than 255lph, he claimed to crack a housing. I really don't want to redo the fuel line and get a pump, all the nickels and dimes were adding up to a lot
