i got in le accident :(

im on the 5 south and some bitch rams behind me when im at a complete stop. my bumper is destroyed, rear of my fc is a lil caved in, my s5 tail lights are ruined and the bracket.., my driver side rear fender is crushed in so i cant open my door, my cigarette ashtray hit my head when she hit me. i have a 10th ae ((((((. however, since its not my fault, maybe i should get my s5 bumpers painted and get a new paint job rehehehheehheehhe. there is one problem, anyone know where the fuel cut box is?? i was told to press sum button so my car can turn on again. thx

There's fuel cut switches, but they are aftermarket. I don't recall hearing about a fuel cut box, though.

Well at least your not hurt, right? If you want to stop the pump from pumping fuel into the motor you can pull the egi fuse under the hood. Usually you would pull it out, crank it for 5 seconds, then replace and start her up if you had a flooded engine. Hope that helps.

AFAIK the fuel pump cut-off is integral to the AFM, when it stops sensing the fuel stops flowing

Sorry to hear.

Do you hear the fuel pump turn on? Have you checked fuses? Fuel lines? Does it crank or is it completely dead? Etc, etc, etc.

thanks ill pm you if i need ur help forsure. ok this is whats happening. the engine cranks, it turns over. its like "key in, turn, chugugugugugugugugug, vroooooom, dies."
simply, the car will not idle. it turns over but does not idle. i think it has something to do with the fuel system.

our cars these days are mostly considered totaled in the smallest collisions because our insurance companies wont give us more than 5 gs haha......

if my car is labled salvaged, imma take out the motor and buy a shell for about 500 and use the 5000 to make it nice again....

however... i dont wanna get rid of my fc juss the fact that its a 10th ae ......

and also for those who said "thank god ur alright" thx but that is not the issue! id rather have cuts all over my body than have a car thats not even drivable at this time.... to keep it simple, my fc is my coffin >DDDDDDDDD.

imma try to get sum pictures soon or jack some pictures from the insurance company. till then watch out for dumb bitches in suvs not paying attention.

jimmy

Make sure your AFM is plugged in. The start, rev, die thing is almost always an AFM problem.

so, what ar you plans if they total it out? Buy it back and part it out? Or buy it back and fix it? If they issue a salvage title, that wil make it a pain when you try to sell it

o believe me i dont plan on selling it if its fixable.
however, if the frame is fucked up, no point in driving a broken fc right?
im probibly gonna get the car's worth and juss take out my engine and buy a shell and make it from the ground up.
the most fucked up thing is that i JUST finished breaking it in!!!!!!

also, it aint the afm cuz if it was, it would juss crank. my engine cranks and turns over so it aint the afm, i think it has something to do with the fuel system.

the worst id say is if they dont want to repair your car... with the money they gave you you can buy back the wrecked car from them at a really low price...
i know in Canada its possible to do that... i dont know about you guys in the US.

good luck with your car !!
