Talking I found a GTUs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i am so happy i could scream. i have been on the prowl for a rolling chassis that i could turn into a all out track car and today after visiting 2 junkyards i found a GTUs with no body damage (except a bit on the plastic bumper)

it is in great shape minus the interior. the body is awesome and it has good wheels. no engine, tranny, or hood

i am trying to get a salvage title on it for 500$

what do you think.

i had to convince the guy to sell it to me by telling him it was the rarext RX-7 ever made and it would be a shame to let it be crushed

hmm...

The gear ratio on the GTUs was part of the forumula to make it fast. Since that shell doesn't have any drivetrain you probably do better finding a basic GTU and swapping in a TII or GTU-S drivetrain.

I don't think you can pass up an opportunity to save one of the rarest of all sevens.

Basically a TII w/o the turbo. Suspension, rims, options. It is not the fastest n/a, just the lighest, best looking, and rarest n/a.
