i found a CURE to my polished needs!!!

since i was concerned about keeping my polished work clean and all...i decided to look around. someone mentioned using a clearcoat for powdercoating. i thought that would be my only choice.
but im gonna try glisten PC made by the company that makes POR-15. i just wanted to see if anyone else has tried it yet?

I would actually appreciate it if you would (bite the bullet?) and test this out for us. =D

I would test it on my polished stuff, but I've already clear coated them, so..

Clear sealer, for all surfaces. Zaino has awesome products. 1 coat lasts 9 months and you only need to use a tiny bit.

I've used their waxes and I've been amazed. Put a single coat of Z-2 on a friend's BMW 5 months ago and it's still shiny and easy to wash. Just did my own car with a clay bar, Z-5, Z-2 & Z-6. It went from a dull, papery, swirl marked covered "old car" white to brand new looking, shiny, and swirl mark free. Every day at work my car gets covered in dust & tiny bits of sap, then half of it comes off during the drive home. The rest I can wipe right off with a finger, even the sap.

For polished aluminum, zoop is pretty much the industry standard. One coating lasts for a good 2 years or so. I have always been more than happy with it.

I have not really dealt with any of these products but I remember days ago when trucks actually had a host (Stacey David- God I love that guy) and he went on about zoop on numerous occasions; sounds like a solid product.

The key with any kind of coating is that the polishing below must be perfect. If you seal in a crappy polishing job, the result isn't going to be worth it. Remember that once it's sealed you can't just go and repolish.

Yeah, Glisten PC is the ****.
We found about it from the local Harley guys who love to use this stuff.
Cause we're in Hawaii, moisture curing is not a problem!

We've heard rumors that this stuff needs to be redone every several years cause it sometimes turns yellow though...
