I fixed my idiot lights! Woot!

I was just really happy that this actually worked.

All I did was pulled the thing out and opened it up. Resoldered the points for all the pins and closed it back up.

I turned on the ignition and all the lights came on, even the clock that hasn't worked since I bought the car. Now, even the seatbelt light yells at me to buckle up.

Just wanted to share my success with someone that hopefully cares.

I resoldered It when I constantly saw my clock dim. It was like a strobe light show! Ever since I had absolutely no problems. Its as good as brand new.

short of running the car without coolant... how would I check my coolant buzzer? my clock flickers and occasionally turns off, but my door, brake and hatch lights all work fine. never seen a seatbelt light though. I'd assumed if one worked the rest would...

My oil, gas, washer fluid lights all seemed to work flawlessly. But, my seatbelt, clock, and the rest were untested or unworking.

After resoldering, they all work (to my knowledge). I will try to run the gas kinda low this weekend to test that one and I have to open the hatch before I will know if that one is working.

Pull the connector of the sensor and start the engine. The “add coolant” light should come on 9-16sec later.
