I have a GXL s4 N/A rx7. Engine blew so I need a new engine. I'm buying my friends s5 t2 fresh rebuild PLUS all his turbo stuff (intake, turbo, exhaust manifolds, ecu, tranny, etc...) for 1500. He was going to put it in his fb, but ended up getting a 3rd gen so of course, he dropped his project. I'm going to get mazdatrix's N/A to t2 driveshaft ~$300, motor and tranny mounts HAVE to be replaced so I'm getting Banzai mounts ~$230. Racing beat t2 downpipe/pre-silencer/clutch/pressureplate/toe eliminator ~$700. So far this is all I can think of that I REALLY need other than the piping for the FMIC and stock fuel injectors (~$260 brand new). I know I'm alittle over, but I figured by the time I got this stuff, I'd have more money to buy little odds and ends.

Can anyone think of anything else I should do while I got my engine and stuff out of the car and I'm still in the buying stage?

Just want you to know that the S5 swap into an S4 is a little more extensive than just dropping in the engine, harness and ECU. The Main S4 harness will not plug into the S5 ecu, there are several things that are opposite; 1 of the important ones is the crank angle sensor plugs into the engine harness on an S5 where as it plugs into the alt/starter harness on the S4. There are a few other things that a dramatically different also. I am not trying to deter you from the project just letting you know that there are going to be a few big bumps in the road.
