If you email me the pics

amur_@sympatico.ca

I'll post them to a public photo album that I have at Yahoo and then everyone can see them...

Sounds like a great car, btw! Congrats!

Welcome to the "club"... hehe. The more you play with it, the more you come to love it. I wasn't a "car guy" in the least until I bought mine, and now I'm getting to the point that I wouldn't mind doing my own rebuilds someday (hopefully never involuntarily though). Although with 90 posts yourself it looks like you aren't new to the whole idea...

All the best on your new '7!

Congrats!

The door handle thing is pretty common, once you take the panel off and look at where it broke you'll wonder wtf mazda was thinking making a handle like that.

You MIGHT be able to repair it, or you can order a new handle, painted to your car color, from www.mazdatrix.com

Use 10W30 now and 20W50 in the summer. Do not use 10W40. They put a lot of garbage in it and some car manufacturers, like Toyota, have threatened to void warranties if they catch owners putting it in their new cars.

Prestone's coolant is a fine choice.

And unless you're driving a turbo you do not need premium gas. 87 octane is just fine. Buying premium means throwing your money away.

definatly do not use high octane fuel. You will only be loing three things: Money, power, and races. I put premium in my FC the first time I filled up and it ran slow. It was a good 20 dollar waste.
