I don't know what happened..
Hey guys.. I am going to get to the point and see if anyone can tell me what the hell happened..
1. my battary died
2. I tried to jump it but put the jumper cables the opposite way and it make a spark
3. I put it the right way and I started my car
4. When I close the door the time reads 1:00..I try to start the radio and it doesn't turn on and the "open door" lights up and the time starts to flicker.
5. I open the door and the time disapears and the radio still doesn't work
6. I close the door and the time goes back to 1:00
Did i blow a fuse or is this something more serious??
thanks guys

just a thought though. if you see sparks and now things arent working, wouldnt common sence tell you to check fuses?
one time I gave my neighbor a jump start, he reversed the cables on his end, this was in my jeep.
Fried a bunch of stuff, but more interesting was a day or so later the battery had reverse polarity itself and I had to get a new one, wouldnt start , no brake lights, headlights, etc

Yea common sense for people that know cars.. I'm just starting off buddy.. I'm sure I will say this same thing to someone else in the future when they post something that should be common sense..

Check the fuse that powers the cigarette lighter. It's the same fuse that provides constant hot to the clock. Key point is that since this is a constant hot fuse, it would have been immediately exposed to not liking how you hooked up the cables.
