FL i dont even know were to start searching

K guys, my 88 vert was having spark problems, eventually it ended up being a faulty ecu, changed it and it started right back up, the ecu should not have any problems as i saw were it came from and it looked like it just came out of the factory. All of a sudden 2 days ago i was backing up in the morning and the car just turned off, i thought maybe i let go of the clutch to much, but yesterday i was just crusing at 40mph and all of a sudden it dosent even sputter, the tach falls on its face and immidietly it comes back up, then falls on its face again and the car turns of, no sputter at all. i started it with the tranny and it stayed running while i stopped, then when i went to go again the tach fell again and the car just turned of without sputtering or anything it just turned of and did not start, i had to tow it home, it did not start because it had no spark as the tach did not bounce, but then when i get it home, i cranck it and it started. long story short, its giving spark whenever it wants to and its pissing me of and i have no idea what to check now.
all grounds cleaned, new ecu, coils tested everything, i have no idea anymore.
any help is appreciated
sorry if its so long, i am just very frustrated with the car right now

Have you checked the continuity of the wiring harness? You may want to wiggle it all around to see if you have any breaks in the wiring.

I experienced the same issue.

I ended up watching the ECU test lights and (Literally) moving sections of the wiring harness until I got the ECU to switch on and off. Then I opened and repaired that section of harness.
