i didnt think my fc was so heavy
Those Wedge Engineering bracket adapters WEIGH A TON!
Most "race seats" + those heavy bracket adapters weigh almost the same as the stock seats with rails!
You lose most of the weight when you bolt race seats straight into the car.
This negates the use of any adjustable assembly, and most people don't like that.
On top of everything, these race seats should be used with a cross brace behind, which means a minimum of a roll bar...more weight!

The seat itself only weighs 12 pounds, the rails add another 10...
Don't buy Wedge brackets, they're overpriced (if you include the $30 they overcharge for shipping), and the service is lackluster (three week lead time). Not to mention they made your headroom WORSE than stock unless you bolt the seat straight to the bracket.
OTOH, the Bride FG rails aren't quite as "low down" as they could have been, at least for the passenger seat (which is out driver's seat).

A slider, no matter how thin, will add to the height, unless somehow you can side mount them on a side mount seat. That's the only way you'll get really low, with side mount seats mouted so that they're touching the floor, can't go any lower than that.
The Bride FG rails puts the seat between the sliders... but it's not quite as low as it could have been.
