I cracked the rear ABS GEar that sits behind the hub.

I have one stripped wheel stud. SO i come to realize the rear studs cant be banged out cause of the ABS gear thingy. SO i remove the big nut in the center.

I though you had to put bolts on the hub to remove it like you do a brake rotor. BUT it doesnt work that way.... I ended up cracking that ABS gear doing this..

quESTION.

Can those ABS gears be completely removed? WHen i get the hub off. can that peice be eliminated or do i have to go fetch for a new ABS gear.

Pull your ABS fuse if you drive around with broken ABS parts or the system might freak out.

Umm.. DOnt worry about that. I had converted to non ABS a long t6ime ago. I dont even have the ABS CPU in the car.

AND dont worry about my question neither. Those ABS gears are not required and can be busted off off with hammer. BEcause of this i did not have to remove my Hub to remove the studs. TADA>!!

I got tired of waiting so
