i have recently bought an 2nd gen rx-7 88 t2 and ned some advice on getting it running

i have replaced all belts
oil cooler lines
oil mettering lines
some vac lines
abv
plugs
oil changed
coolent flush
set timing
many other things

but still it has low power and dose not idel and the exhost over heats when ideling and driving

could use the help thanks in advance

 

exhaust overheats? Cat is clogged. That would cause your lack of power problem too.

 

Yup, Kenteth is right. My TII was as slow as a **** when i bought it, it wouldnt boost past 3PSI in 3rd Gear.. After I put a Thunder Fabrications 3" DP/MP on it, it made a night and day difference.
