I can't get my antenna to work
I installed a new head unit. I have a haynes manual but I cannot make out how to get the antenna to work. Is this something I have to wire in to get to work? I just want my radio to work. I have an 87 rx7 btw.

you have in install a relay so that it can switch it on properly.
Head units all send out a positive signal to tell the antenna to go up, the stock FC radio sends out a negative signal, so you put a relay to correct it.
There is a write up for it somewhere on this board im sure.

I in vestigated closely back by the antenna...it's not even a power antenna lol. Someone had pushed the center of the antenna down farther than one could dicern that it could be puller out manually I pushed it up from the inside and reconnected it. ....for some reason it was dissconnected? Anyways got radio signal now and I'm happy. I don't need a motorized antenna anyways.
Thanks for the replies anyways. I read everything about the relay. Sounded easy enough. I'f I get the urge to have a motorized antenna then I'll have to wire that up.
