I cant find headers to fit, and i have an intake, whats option 2?

what would be the next option, a good safe nitrous system? Wiring ports? something else, i really dont know, but headers wont fit my car.
well they were racing beat street headers with collectors and all, they were RESTING against the transmission and floorpan, to make em fit i had to remove all the heat shields and everything, im rather heart broke cause i REALLY needed thoes to work lol.
I had a road race header, and it did come really close to the floor pan also. But it wasn't a problem. I would just put it on and not worry about it. It probably won't hurt anything, just watch and make sure it doens't melt the carpet
Or you could make your own header (assuming you have/have access to a welder)

im not worried about the floor, im only worried about the tranny my grandpa wont help me install it, because he said he dont want it leaving me strainded, but i can install it myself blindfolded

If they are hitting the car, you may be looking at bigger problems. First, check engine mounts and tranny mounts to make sure they're not worn. However, if it is hitting the tranny/car, your car is bent (or maybe the headers are bent?).

Wiring the ports doesn't give you any power at all. just thought I let you know. Clean them if they are stuck.
NItrous would help the power but get the right stuff and do it right. Or else the motor will pop.

theres alot of funny things with the car, but i know the body is straight, my motor seams level, but its not like its a concern with the floor boards, its just like close to the tranny for some reason.
one funny thing, i only have 1 cat and its almost at the ypipe, it has a transmission bolt thats too long for the hole stuck in there and some jacks have make some small messed up places in the frame rails.

Then make sure the headers are not bent. If they are not, then the car is. That simple. A body shop (a GOOD ONE) can confirm.
Are you sure you have 2nd gen headers, and not 1st gen units? Or even 12A headers (which won't fit the engine)?

i have a bunch of pictures off the internet, and i can almost promiss the way the sucker is made it isnt bent, its in new condition and all the pics are exactly like the header.
and my shop said, they Couldnt bend the header or it would for sure break. so i dont think its bent.

You need to confirm it. Looking at pictures is useless. Racing Beat has been doing this for a lot of years. Unless something is wrong with the header or car, it will fit.
i just got a comfirmation, that the metal they make the header out of is not bendable, and it came off a car and it fit that car fine.

I know that the header on my car is VERY close to the transmisson pan, the presilencers are also very close. The exhaust has been on my car for 20,000 miles and I have never had any problems whatsoever and when I mean close I can't even fit my pinkie in between them. Put the header on and don't worry about it.

Your engine should not be higher...I can't imagine how that could happen. But to be sure, just check the mounts. It is possible someone in the past used strange mounts. Yours should be round, and in total about an inch high.
I would take Aaron's advice first and make sure that everything on you car (the engine) is where it should be, and is mounted/positioned correctly, before you start cutting heat shields off.
It's probably because he has an automatic FC, and the headers are designed to work with a manual transmissioned car.
Do a 5-speed swap, and then report back to us.
