I can;t make up my mind on clutch ahhhhhhhh

I'm buying a new clutch but don;t know what to do.

I had a 4 puck unsprung clutch with HD PP but I think thats what ultimately lead to my transmissions demise.

I'm putting a new transmission in and don't want the same thing to happen. I am considering the following clutches

1. ACT 4 Puck Sprung
2. ACT 6 Puck Unsprung
3. ACT 6 Puck Sprung

What are the advantages and disadvantages? Yes I searched but I keep getting conflicting answers.

I don't do a lot of racing .. I do an occasional 1/4 mile day .. and a couple of autocross deals but thats about it. I don't mind harsh engagement .. but the main thing is that I don't want to risk toasting any of my components.

Unless you plan on making over 400ft/lbs of torque - I'd use a full face clutch.

I've use 6 puck, 4 puck................3 puck........and would never ever think about unless my power required it (on a street car)

A track car's a different story, but with a great clutch like an ACT HD or Extreme.......why would you want to sacrifice OEM driveability? What are you gaining by going to a puck clutch?

But out of your choices (I've driven all of them) the 6 puck sprung with HD pressure plate will be the easiest to drive. And by easiest, I mean easier then nearly impossible/extremely difficult.

EDIT: If a main concern is toasting drivetrain stuff - use a full face clutch!!
