I bought a new toy!

Picked this up in excellent condition for $1500 Cdn! Only needs a cat and a light bulb to certify.

1988 GX,sunroof,AC,5 speed,single muffler conversion.

Now because I bought this,I am selling my Celica super cheap because it has just got to go,otherwise I can't insure the RX7 on our policy without opening a new one.

Are those BBS rims by chance?

That car looks quite good for the price you paid!

I don't think they are BBS rims. Probably some cheap knockoff, but still nice rims. I just picked up a nice set of ROH rims with tires for $300. This car is nothing but deals! I got the car,and rims and tires all for less than 2 grand. Plus, since I work at CP Racing,(I work there one more week, then have to resign until June, then start again at the end of June and work full time) there's even more deals, and free labour for installations.

I will be the first owner to bastardize it by driving it in the snow. Luckily,it's been undercoated every year since new.

Sweet car and I love the rims. I hate driving mine in the snow. I am shopping for a beater, now that I am 25 and don't get majorly penalized for having two cars on my insurance policy.

I pick it up on Friday, but I can't drive it until I've either taken my Celica off the road and uninsure it and store it,or sell it.

GRRR. And I was SO looking forward to driving it by next week. Insurance ALWAYS has to screw you over some way or another. Apparently 5 cars is too many on a policy that includes 3 people.

Same experience here. I told the old owner that she handled fine in the snow and he was gald to hear that... Considering he only drove it from March - September.
