doh!


knock on wood, i have had hundreds of engines with the top end torn off and open intake runners and never dropped a bolt down on accident. now that i have said that i will probably screw myself over tomorrow!

Bah, that's a common mistake.

So far the biggest retard was the guy who was asking why his engine was running funny after he replaced one of his NA rotors with a TII rotor. I wish that thread didn't disappear when the forum was rebuilt a few years ago.

Yeah except it didn't make a single sound! It must've been a quick death. =(

And what's stranger is this... I made it 3/4 of the way to work on the freeway before that bolt got sucked in. I assumed for the last few weeks I had blown a coolant seal.

It's fine, it happens to everyone. I borked a nearly new S5 TII intermediate housing when a grinding stone exploded.

Your damager looks superficial. The housing should be to use.

keep in mind any loss of compression will be on the exhaust stroke which wont really affect anything.. as long as its smoove.. no worries!
