so last night i start up the FC and notice it takes a little longer to start. After it starts, I instantly smell gas. i pop the hood, and smells like a huge gas leak. its too dark to see anything, so i just shut it down. I look underneath and there is a puddle of fuel the leak was so bad. The car was only running for maybe 1 min max.


Today i pulled the UIM off, and jumpered the fuel pump to ON, and it doesnt leak at all. I tried wiggling the fuel injectors, squeezed teh return line, no leaks whatsoever. wtf?

mods are walbro 255 fuel pump, bigger injectors, stock lines and rails

 

Check your PD... the S5 PD's can leak intermittent (often based on engine temp) when they rip internally.

 

also buy a fire distingvisher.
