hp out of a N/A
Absolutely, but if you are looking for cheaper gains, go woth a freer flowing intake and obviously exhaust. I see that you are in PHX wich is where i am from and ther are tons of aftermarket places that cater to the rotary. But effective gains with budget spending can be sought with those 2 issues

Don't get a carb kit, especially just for a street ported engine. You can get similar peak power from fuel injection (get an safc or megasquirt to lean out the top end) and it will be a much more drivable car.
Basically, the main ways to get power from an NA is exhaust and a CAI. You can start getting into stuff like removing emissions and accessories, and get a lighter flywheel. After that you're pretty much left with tuning. You can get a noticable gain just from leaning out the top end (with help of a tuner and dyno) with some type of fuel controller.

I'm seriously looking at a Megasquirt to tune my n/a and to get some tuning experience with it's software and when I convert to T2 it should be easier to dial in the tuning.
