Howto pass emissions?

I've had my 87 n/a for about a year now, and have never been able to pass emissions, although i gave up trying 6 months ago....
what im trying to find out is if there are any tricks you guys might know about to get them to pass...(it's street ported, light intake/exhaust work)
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
-neu-

A good catalytic converter combined with a WORKING ACV and airpump. Plus the timing being correct. Throw in a functional Relief and Switching solenoid, good 02 sensor, good water thermo sensor on the back of the waterpump housing...and your set. OH, new sparkplugs and airfilter with a oil change does not hurt a thing.

I see. I forgot to mention being ethical. Keep saying to yourself, *I am not a crooked person*.
