How's this setup?

I'm restoring an '87 TII. The engine has been rebuilt and street ported. Here's the list of things I've done and what I've purchased:

TB Mod
TID mod
Home Depot BOV
Removed Air Pump and ACV

In the mail:
SAFC
Walbro Fuel Pump
FCD
Bonez Down and Mid-Pipes
A/F Gauge
Boost Gauge
Oil Pressure Gauge (stock is dead)
May attempt a wastegate port job

Should I be OK for fuel? That's about the extent of the mods I want to do. I'll tune the finished product on the dyno, but is it safe to assume about 250hp?

Thanks all,

Brian

I doubt you'll get 250HP with the stock cat-back. I'm thinking 220 or 230 is more realistic. You need to REALLY open the exhaust to get higher numbers.

But your mods list looks fine, except you forgot an EGT guage.

don't you need 720s secondaries? I would recommed cat-back too.

Cool! Thanks Aaron. The current exhaust consists of the pre-cat off the turbo and 2.5" pipe back to two 2.5" aftemarket flow-thru mufflers (not sure what brand.) Was I correct in sticking with 2.5" to avoid overboost? I'm just not interested in too much power, more reliability and longevity. The precat is in BAD shape…so bad it's funny. It's got holes in it and it's so clogged I barely get any exhaust pressure from the mufflers.

So basically, after all this you will have a full exhaust? Then I'd certainly recommend larger secondaries. And definitly port that wastegate.

Crapadoodle. I HATE taking off the UIM. I was hoping the SAFC and bigger fuel pump would be enough to compensate. I guess the injectors will be maxed out?
