Hows this look for fast idle adjustment?
Hows this look for fast idle adjustment?
I removed the upper intake and throttle body this morning in hopes of adjusting the fast idle settings, and finding a vacuum leak that has been driving me crazy.
Here's how it's looking-
It's about 80* outside, so I set the 77* mark to be centered with the cam and the TPS reads about 1K ohm.

When I pull the cam arm up so it doesn't hit the cam anymore, the TPS reads 0 ohm, and the throttle plate is closed all the way.

Thanks for any help/advice..... trying to get this thing running 100% before I start modding it.

You want the meter to show 1K ohms with the fast idle cam pulled off & the throttle sitting on the hard stop.
Then pull open the throttle & work the TPS plunger in & out to see if the sweep on values up to ~5K is nice & smooth. You don't want any spikes or drops in the sweep.

My TPS only opens up to 3K ohms........
I just bought it off here becuase my old one would read anywhere from 0K to 30K ohms and I was having a lot of trouble with part throttle cutting out.
This is on an S4 T2 by the way.
