How would I make the Clutch pedal firmer

I have stock 87 TII. No mods what so ever, except safety/reliablity. The clutch seems a lil too soft for me. Even after driving my dads old honda his is stiffer. Is this from the hydraulic setup....or just the actual clutch itself? The clutch was replaced before I got the car with Stock setup, if that info helps.

mmmmm I might be wrong,
but maybe it's your pressure plate that doesnt clamp with as much force as it did when it was new...

First thing to do is to bleed the system I guess. Start with that!

you could adjust the spring near the clutch??
also... its hydralic clutch.... so..... easy effort...
.make a custom z bar!!

1st gens have an even softer clutch pedal. If you want it stiffer, get higher clamping pressure plate.

Aftermarket pressure plate... i reccomend ACT...

SS clutch line will get it done. It cost like 26 bucks at corksport

That is an urban myth.

What kills the cylinders is old fluid picking up condensation moisture which corrodes the bores, which wears the seals, which turns the fluid dark, which starts to leak.

The solution is to bleed the brakes & clutch every time you service the brake pads.

If you just want a firmer pedal feel, just back off the tension on the clutch pedal assist spring.
