How would I do this on an s5 n/a???
"Why not just buy a prelude intake off ebay and make a true cold air intake? All that intake (fc3sfreek's) is doing is causing it to suck in a bunch of hot engine bay air whereas before it was sucking in cold air with the stock air box.
This is a quote from another thread. I was wondering how you would get a prelude intake to work on an s5 n/a.

Those are some pics of what I did with mine, which should answer all your questions.
prelude pipe was from a 92 prelude cold air cut off ebay, throw away air filter that it comes with and buy a nice k&n.

ah ok...it makes a little more sense now. So, you pulled the washer bottle, and then i'm assuming you cut a hole to allow for the piping to go through? Anything else special about it? Has sucking up water been an issue...it looks like it would be bad in the rain.
