Haven't we ALL heard this
You read the FSM on how to rebuild them and you buy the rebuild kit from Mazda.
But considering how the drivers side is 55 bucks and the passengers side is 87 after you turn in your cores...I would just buy them from Autozone.
It can be a PITA to rebuild your calipers. Esp if you don't have the right tools...such as an air compressor.

sometimes it can be very difficult. If any of the pistons are seized then its a real PITA. I was rebuild the 2 piston caliper on my yamaha and it took 350psi to blow it out, and that was after a night of soaking in pb blaster, hitting with a rubber mallet, and everything else you'd see in a three stooges episode. Advanced auto remaned mine for $55 i think. I would go that route. They also have a lifetime warranty I believe.

I'm gonna do a little tutorial when I do mine this weekend if I get to it. I really woulden't bother if the pistons are seized real bad, too much hassle to get them out then. But I havent run into any seized ones yet. Except the drivers side on my car, so that's why I'm gonna replace all of them...later

all the rebuild kit is is new o-rings, new dust caps for around the pistons, their springs, and i think a new dust cap for the bleeder screw. the whole kit is like 30 bucks or something from mazdatrix and it does one caliper. pretty easy to do as long as the pistons arent siezed. you can also paint them red or something while theyre off like i did, makes em look cool.

yup, I always use the mazdatrix caliper rebuild kits. They do both calipers. And I might do this this weekend, I can snap some pics if ya like. Let me know. This will be my third time doing this, it's not that bad. It's a basic, take apart, replace rubber, and re-assemble. But I throw other cleaning in there too...

Rebuilding the calipers is very easy as long as they are not rusted.
I bought my rebuild kit from SloReilly's. I don't think it cost $30. I now have had the calipers that I rebuild on the car for 10 years without any problems.
Oh, when blowing the pistons out with compressed air DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT user your hand to try and catch the pistons as they come out.
Use a small block of wood to stop them.

edit: they have no calipers on stock on there site. and it looks to be a salvage type deal, not re-built even if they had then so... whatever...
