Ive got and 88 Vert that has had a lot of work done to it at great expense by the previous owner. Anyways I cant get ahold of him anymore and I am wondering it there is anyway to tell if the motor has been ported without tearing down the motor.

 

With a vert, I'd expect a 1/4 mile trap speed of almost 90mph or upper 80's on stock exhaust if it has a good street port. I'd recommend taking it to the local drag strip or borrowing someone's gtech to find out.
