how to tap a line into the acessory on wiring?

how to tap a line into the acessory on wiring?

if i wanted to install fog lights, but want my car to beep when its off but they are on, like it does with headlights, how do i do that?

The factory service manual wiring diagrams are going to be your friend here. I'm not sure what the warning beeper ties into, but I suspect it's one of the outputs off the headlight switch.

I know turning my headlights on with the DRL switch (aftermarket addition) doesn't turn the beeper on, so I make a point of turning the running lights on as well to warn me (I've drained the battery more than once).

If I have some time tonight, I'll dig into the FSM and see what I can find.

You would just tap a wire off of your fog light relay's output to the fog lights, to the CPU's light input wire, and use two diodes to isolate the two wires as they feed into the CPU
