How to take the stearing rack off pics

Hello,

Im taking off the stearing rack of the subframe because its a RHD right hand drive. And i want to install my LHD one.

Just having some problems should itake this bushing off and how or is there another way.

if you want to take the rack out i would sugguest remove the boot on the inner tie rod and loosen the nut holding it in then put the castle nut back on the outer tie rod a few threads in and if hit just right when a rubber mallet or so it should pop it off

no problem just try not to hit the castle nut to hard cuz you dont want to damage the tie rod end

Ok, im having some trouble. The castly nut your talking about is the one shown in pic one right ) bolt not actually there )

I also took the boot off this end but dont know what to do


Also a freind said to burn it off.

Burn it? Your trying to get the tie rod off the hub? Get a tie rod seperator. You can rent it from Autozone

screw a nut on it or put something flat on the end of the bolt and hit the **** out of it.

thats what you need to unscrew for the inner tie rod where you took the boot off

thsi is the castle nut to hit to get it out of the hub part
