How to take off side molding?? (Searched)

So whats best way to remove the side molding off the rear fender? I have to notch out the side molding then stick side moldings in it, then stick it back on... Also how do i wire in the side markers in parallel with my tail lights? Do i just splice them into the tail light wires?

Thanks

if your talking about the black strip around the outside of the car you can just pull it of its only glued on... why would you need to rewire the side markers arent they already wired in?

Well my car is from japan, it does not have rear side markers. I need side markers to pass inspection and then put my rex on the road. All of the holes are already in the body panel, i just need to wire the two side marker in parallel with my tail lights.. and i am not sure how to do this.

Well first they don't just go in parallel with your tail lights. The tail lights are two step lights and the side markers are not.

I don't know if you can just plug into the harness or if there isn't a place to plug it into on you harness since its Jspec. You may need to make the wiring from scratch.

just wire them in to the switch so they go on when you turn it on...its the easiest and it will look the same...if youi attept to hook them up parallel they will get brighter everytime you brake which will look stupid...but mostly funny

hook it up to your headlights lol. they will get brighter when you flash your brights, but if you need a quick fix, why not?

^^^

WAY too many amps.........

you cant tap into the stop lights. it is too much voltage. you need to tap into the low voltage circuit coming out of the switch.

I wired them in parallel with my lisence plate light. It turns on when my parking lights are on. Everything seems to work great. I figured out my moldings.. mazda loves to make unremovable clips, bastards. I notched out my moldings with a dremelm as well, doesnt look as good as i hoped, but ill worry about that later.
