How To: Repair Warning Lights

I finally finished the writeup I said I'd do about 2 weeks ago.

Feel free to post comments/critiques/etc. here. I may have missed something (or just screwed something up).

nice, good writeup. Sticky? i think the only thing missing would be how to remove the surround without breaking it's fragile plastic tabs. i've read that how to else where... not sure where at the moment though.

Thanks.

I put how I removed it in there. I didn't break any when I used the jeweler's screwdriver. I did break one before that when I didn't realize how fragile they were. Just be careful to lift/pry slowly and with as little force as possible.

Very cool, I like your clear photos too. I see you found where that unknown part goes. I'll be following this writeup eventually, since my clock likes to reset itself - it makes a great conversation piece!

I did indeed find where it went. I only had to buy another one to do it.

Oh, and thanks to steve for the webspace to put the write up on.
