how to remove h2o pump and housing

im trying to swap water pumps and housings between cars, but I cant get the pump off. the pulley on the pump is hitting one of the pulleys coming off of the engine, theyre jsut barely touching but its enough to not let me take it off. what do I do now?

take the pulley off. (waterpump)

you do realize that the omp lines are going to be in the way also.

dont grind anything!

i ran into this problem a couple of weeks ago when i changed mine.

i removed the bolts that go through the housing. that way i was able to carefully wiggle it out, without removing the OMP lines.

remember that there is a plug on the back of the housing (top left corner). remeber to scrape off ALL of the old gasket, it's gonna be a bitch, but you'll feel better when its done

alright dude,

for the water pump pulley
take the 4 bolts off the pulley your gonna have to wigge the pulley off. it's not gonna come off easy

fan
same thing as above, your going to have to wiggle it off. its not gonna come off easy either

if both are stuck, tap it with something. use a rubber mallet or hit it lightly with a hammer
