How to remove brake booster?

Whats the best way of removing the brake booster? I did a search but it seems like not many people have removed them too often...

I got the 4 nuts off from under the dash and removed all the brake line fittings but even when I press on the brakes (to push out the booster), it still isn't coming off when I try yanking on it.

Should I try to forcefully remove it? Any damage to the input shaft? Not exactly sure how it works back there since I can't see.
